Themes combine freely. A fourteen-day plan commonly mixes clinical blocks from two themes with a cultural route running underneath.

The four-day Return Check-up is deliberately plotted so that the clinical part never eats the emotional part.
Arriving — the first meal back
Met at the airport with your name card and a greeting in your language. Check in near the district you once lived in. Welcome pack: old-photograph booklet, hand-drawn city map, transit card, eSIM, 24-hour emergency card. Dinner chosen around your dietary restrictions.
Screening — the fast lane
Private car to the contracted screening centre. Your companion stays with you through every station: bloods, imaging, endoscopy, all pre-scheduled so there is no queue. Rest and lunch mid-day; additional items and doctor consultation in the afternoon.
Results & reunion
Bilingual reading of your report in the morning, doctor by video or in person with your companion translating. Afternoon is deliberately yours: your old campus, your former neighbourhood, the river — arranged three weeks in advance with your written permission.
Departing — still family afterwards
Transfer to the airport. Same-day electronic settlement pack with every item documented. Then six to twelve months of structured follow-up.

Visa letters, flights, hotels, airport pickup and city transfer are arranged through licensed travel agencies. Tour operations carry their own insurance and responsibility, clearly separated from your medical care.

Family members travelling with the organising person are never charged a second service fee. If a family member has their own treatment — implant work, for example — that treatment is billed at actual cost directly to the hospital, not smuggled into your $1,000.

A mother-tongue companion online 24 hours under a two-companion rota — lead companion plus emergency cover. Physically present at five moments: airport pickup, admission, consultation, discharge, departure. A remote group keeps family informed, with a daily report before 21:00 carrying three to five photos, two lines of progress and tomorrow's plan.

Staying where you used to live
How it runs
At registration we build a "China history file": the districts, campuses, employers and years. Hotels are then chosen within roughly three kilometres of that radius, balancing clinical convenience against the pull of the old neighbourhood. Higher-risk medical themes must sit within fifteen minutes of the contracted hospital.

Food that tastes like home
How it runs
Dietary preferences collected thirty days before travel: religious restrictions, allergies, vegetarian, dislikes. Welcome and farewell meals matched from an established-restaurant list. Therapeutic meals tied to medical orders — diabetic and low-sodium menus prepared with the hospital nutrition department or a partner kitchen. Old-flavour visits built into the cultural route.

A reunion route
How it runs
Route design starts thirty days out: your campus through the international office, old colleagues through two channels of the TIECEC exchange network three weeks ahead, your former home. Routes are graded by physical capacity — after surgery we offer a drive-past version, "just to see it". Beijing, Xi'an and Hainan extensions are available when recovery allows.

Birthday and Lunar New Year greetings signed by your companion. Priority scheduling for a second visit, and introductions framed as a "friends returning" gathering rather than a sales pitch.

Twice a year with university international alumni offices: one spring window around campus anniversaries and reunion season, one autumn window. Shared arrival days keep costs down and turn the airport transfer into part of the event.

Documentary
My Second Homeland
Three to five episodes, eight to twelve minutes each, filmed with consent during the pilot year. The first episode follows a former expatriate returning to Tianjin for a check-up fifteen years after leaving. No case is filmed without the authorisation set being signed first — and no episode is released to promote anything before the traveller's own journey is finished.

Paid acquisition for Second Home does not start until suppliers are signed and verified. Promotion cannot run ahead of proof.
No second service fee for family
The $1,000 is charged to the organising person alone. Family members pay their actual costs and nothing else. This is a pricing commitment, not a policy — no sales conversation can discount around it.
Clear clinical boundaries
TGCP coordinates; we do not treat. Clinical responsibility sits with the hospital, tour operations with the licensed travel agency, coordination with us. Three agreements signed before one booking.
