Inbound medical travel to China has moved from novelty to volume. We publish the numbers together with who produced them, because a claim you cannot check is not worth our credibility.
Figures reported by Yicai (China Business Network) in 2025 industry coverage and by the Hainan Provincial Government; the 240-hour visa-free transit policy is published by the National Immigration Administration (NIA). China has no single official inbound medical-tourism statistic, so treat these as reliable trend indicators rather than official counts.
