WHO THIS IS FOR

If any of this sounds familiar, you're in the right place

You're not looking for a miracle. You're looking for an option that your current healthcare system isn't offering — and you want to know if it's real.

"The wait is too long"

You've been told 6–12 months for a surgery you need now. In China's top hospitals, the same procedure can be scheduled within 1–2 weeks. For oncology and cardiac patients, that difference matters.

Typical wait in China: 1–2 weeks
💰

"The quote is unaffordable"

A procedure quoted at $80,000 in your country may cost $12,000–$20,000 in China, at equivalent or higher surgical volumes. We help you understand the total cost — travel, hospital, accommodation — before you commit to anything.

Cost: typically 1/5 to 1/3 of US prices

"This treatment isn't available here"

CAR-T cell therapy, proton beam therapy, advanced Da Vinci robotic surgery, and integrative TCM rehabilitation — therapies that are unavailable, unapproved, or prohibitively expensive in many countries are routine in China's leading medical centers.

Access to therapies you can't get at home

People who made the choice — and what happened

These accounts are based on publicly reported cases of international patients who traveled to China for treatment. Names and identifying details have been generalized for privacy.

Multiple Myeloma

When CAR-T became the only option — but wasn't available at home

After two lines of therapy failed, his oncologist mentioned CAR-T — but in New Zealand it wasn't funded for his subtype, and private treatment abroad was the only path. China's CAR-T programs, with over 600 clinical trials active nationwide, offered a specific construct targeting his tumor marker. Treatment was completed in 6 weeks including preparatory chemotherapy, cell collection, manufacturing, infusion, and monitoring.

"I was out of options at home. China wasn't on my radar — until it was the only place that said yes."

Osteoarthritis — Total Hip Replacement

From an 11-month NHS wait to surgery in under 3 weeks

Severe osteoarthritis made walking painful and sleep impossible. The NHS waiting list was 11 months. Through TGCP, she was matched with an orthopedic surgeon at a Joint Commission International-accredited hospital in Tianjin who performs over 400 hip replacements annually. Surgery was scheduled 18 days after initial contact. She walked with assistance on day 2 post-op and was discharged on day 5.

"I was terrified of the idea. But the coordination made it feel less like jumping into the unknown and more like following a plan someone had already tested."

Coronary Artery Disease — CABG

Triple bypass at 49: the cost of waiting vs. the cost of going

A routine checkup revealed three blocked arteries. Germany's system quoted a 7-week wait — manageable, but his cardiologist warned that any angina episode in the interim could become an emergency. A Chinese cardiac center performing over 1,000 CABG procedures annually accepted his case. He was on the operating table 12 days after arrival. Post-operative recovery included 5 days of integrated TCM rehabilitation — acupuncture for pain and herbal medicine for inflammation — which he credits for his rapid recovery.

"The surgeon had done more bypasses that year than most German surgeons do in a career. That gave me confidence no brochure could."

Every story started with a single message.
Your case. An honest assessment. Whether China is right for you — told to you directly, with no commitment expected.

Your first message to recovery at home: the entire timeline

Every step has a named coordinator. No gaps, no handoffs into the void, no "someone will call you back."

Day 1–3

Initial consultation — free, no commitment

Send us your medical situation. A native-language coordinator reviews it within 48 hours. We'll give you an honest assessment: whether China is a good option for your specific case, what it would likely cost, and how long it would take. If it's not the right fit, we'll tell you directly.

Day 4–10

Hospital matching & quote

We match your case to a specialist in our partner network, share anonymized records for review, and return a written treatment plan and cost estimate. All pricing confirmed upfront — no surprise bills.

Day 11–18

Visa, travel & preparation

We issue the medical invitation letter jointly with the partner hospital, prepare your documentation packet, and coordinate travel dates. You handle the flight — we handle everything else.

Day 19–25

Arrival & treatment

Airport pickup, hospital admission, pre-op assessments, procedure, and inpatient recovery. A bilingual coordinator is with you at every major interaction. Your family back home receives regular updates.

Day 26–35

Discharge & return home

Discharge summary translated into your language. Prescriptions and rehabilitation plan provided. Airport transfer. Post-departure follow-up: 6–12 months of remote monitoring by your coordinator, with communication channels to your treating physician in China if needed.

What we coordinate care for

Our partner hospitals cover the full spectrum of adult and pediatric specialties. These are the areas where China's case volumes and outcomes create the strongest advantage for international patients.

PET-CT

Oncology

Liver, lung, gastric, breast, colorectal, and hematologic cancers. CAR-T cell therapy, proton therapy, precision radiation, and immunotherapy. Chinese oncologists at top centers perform 3–5× more tumor resections annually than Western peers.

Cardiology

Cardiovascular

Coronary artery bypass grafting (CABG), valve repair/replacement, congenital heart surgery, stent implantation, and aortic surgery. Centers performing 1,000+ CABG procedures annually with 1–2 week waits from diagnosis to surgery.

Orthopedics

Orthopedics & Spine

Total hip and knee replacement, spinal fusion and decompression, sports medicine, and trauma surgery. Surgeons performing 400+ joint replacements annually — volume that directly correlates with lower complication rates.

Surgery

Neurosurgery

Brain tumor resection, deep brain stimulation (DBS) for Parkinson's, epilepsy surgery, and cerebrovascular procedures. China's neurosurgical centers combine high case volumes with advanced intraoperative imaging and navigation.

Acupuncture

TCM & Integrative Rehabilitation

Post-surgical recovery, chronic pain management, adjuvant cancer care, and stroke rehabilitation. Acupuncture, herbal medicine, and therapeutic massage integrated with Western protocols — a recovery pathway unavailable in most Western systems.

Advanced therapy

Organ Transplant & Advanced Therapy

Liver and kidney transplantation, CAR-T constructs for hematologic malignancies, proton beam therapy for solid tumors, and Da Vinci robotic surgery. Therapies that are unavailable, delayed, or prohibitively expensive in many home countries.

Also: ophthalmology (cataract, LASIK, retinal surgery), urology, gynecology, ENT, gastroenterology, and comprehensive health screening. Tell us your condition — we'll tell you if we can help.

What China's medical system offers that yours may not

This is not about "better" — it's about different strengths. Understanding those differences helps you make an informed decision.

📊

Volume breeds precision

A Chinese oncologist at a top-tier hospital may perform 300 liver resections a year. In many Western countries, the same surgeon might do 30. Higher case volumes mean more complex cases seen, more techniques refined, and more standardized treatment pathways established. Volume is not a guarantee of quality — but it is a strong predictor of it.

Speed: from diagnosis to surgery in weeks

In China's major medical centers, the journey from confirmed diagnosis to complex surgery often takes 1–2 weeks — compared to 3–6 months in some countries. For oncology and cardiovascular patients, time is a prognostic factor: every week of delay can affect outcomes. TGCP's coordination further compresses waiting periods.

🌿

Integrative medicine: surgery + TCM rehabilitation

Post-surgical recovery, chronic disease management, adjuvant cancer therapy, and pain care — Traditional Chinese Medicine offers pathways that Western systems cannot replicate. TGCP integrates TCM rehabilitation into medical packages: acupuncture for post-operative pain, herbal formulations for inflammation, and therapeutic massage for mobility recovery.

🧬

Access to therapies unavailable elsewhere

China has accelerated innovative drug approvals. PD-1 inhibitors, CAR-T constructs, proton therapy centers, and Da Vinci robotic systems are routinely deployed. For patients whose home countries restrict or delay these therapies — or price them out of reach — China represents access that didn't exist before.

A coordinator, not a middleman

TIECEC — Tianjin International Enterprise Culture Exchange Center

We are a China-based organization that coordinates international medical care — not a broker marking up hospital fees, not a travel agency adding commissions. We connect international patients directly with partner hospitals, manage the logistics, and stay with you through recovery.

Our partner network includes Joint Commission International-accredited hospitals and public teaching hospitals with the highest patient volumes in their specialties. We work with these institutions to create transparent, coordinated care pathways that didn't exist before for international patients.

Honest about outcomes: if your case isn't suited for treatment in China, we'll tell you directly — and explain why. We don't recommend travel when the evidence doesn't support it.

Partner Institutions Include

Tianjin Medical University Cancer Hospital
Tianjin First Central Hospital
TEDA International Cardiovascular Hospital
Tianjin University of TCM Teaching Hospital
Peking Union Medical College Hospital
Chinese PLA General Hospital (301)
